Guided winter hike to the high Stone!

With Andrea we went these days on a winter hike through the picturesque Tauferberg to the high stone. There you can expect a magnificent view of the valley floor of Längenfeld and the opposite 300m of the Geigenklamm. A part of the Ötztal Alps that separates the Ötztal from the Pitztal.

The Tauferberg is a huge rockfall that thundered over from the other side of the valley to Niedethai about 10,000 years ago.

As if thrown down by a giant hand, the jagged boulders lie in the landscape.
